„All life is in motion“ (Heraklit)
Nordic walking is a great form of open air exercise, and a gentle workout for
the entire body that incorporates stamina, strength and fitness. It's the perfect
exercise for easy weight loss, and is also gentle on all the joints!
In the 1930s Nordic walking was already being used as a summer training method for cross-country skiers. Sports scientists and sports doctors developed this new, fashionable sport from it. In the case of Nordic walking, using the arms to work the poles utilises all the body's muscles, increases the heart rate and metabolism, and increases energy consumption.
Nordic walking increases calorie consumption and strengthens the shoulder, back and chest muscles. All you need is two carbon composite poles and the great outdoors, then nothing else can come between you and increased fitness.
